How does CSH Indoor Training differ from your local gym "spin class?"
Indoor cycling at Cycling Spoken Here is a progressive training class that builds your cycling skills and physical ability over the course of time using the concept of "periodization." Each week day class and weekend cycling homework session builds on itself to create a complete cyclist, ready for your spring season.
Designed by Katie Fredlund, MS exercise physiology, the CSH Indoor Training program uses the periodization model to develop individualized training plans for each participant. You will learn about all the concepts needed for periodization training, as well as build your skills on your bicycle (pedal cadence, shifting gears, leading the pack, sitting in the pack, climbing in and out of the saddle, sprinting, and dynamics of racing). Participants will also learn about the nuts and bolts of your bicycle, nutrition and bike gear that will allow you to be a better cyclist.
Week day interval sessions: Tuesday/Thursday 6:30pm @CSH
Weekend Homework: Saturday/Sunday on your own - 60 minutes up to 4-5 hours of saddle time
